The person behind the tools

Gregory Garone, CEPA®

Business Exit & Wealth Strategist

Certified Exit Planning Advisor · Rochester, New York

A business owner can negotiate an eight-figure offer and still not know whether the sale supports the life that comes next. A family can inherit significant wealth and still be unsure which decision comes first. The number matters—but only when it connects to the decision.

These decisions belong in one conversation.

A business sale affects your retirement. Retirement changes what you need from your investments. An inheritance changes what your family needs from you. Too often, you’re left to connect those decisions yourself.

I’m Greg Garone. I lead Morrowgate Private Wealth, serving business owners, individuals, and families. Your CPA and attorney bring essential expertise. My focus is connecting the financial questions around what your money needs to make possible.

Why WealthPlannerPro exists

You should be able to explore a question before handing over your contact information. WealthPlannerPro is built to show the number, the assumptions behind it, what could change the answer, and what to ask next.

A calculator can show how a different sale price, tax assumption, or spending level changes the result. It cannot know your complete circumstances or make the decision for you. That boundary is deliberate.

Who receives your request?

WealthPlannerPro is a Morrowgate Private Wealth resource. When you ask for help here, your request comes directly to me. We don’t sell your contact information to other advisors or send your question to an advisor marketplace.

Asking for an emailed result only sends that copy. Asking for help requests a personal response by your chosen contact method. Neither signs you up for marketing or makes you a client.

How to use the tools

Start with rough numbers. Change one assumption at a time. Pay attention to what moves the result and what the calculator cannot settle. Then bring those questions to the people helping you with the decision.

Sources and review dates appear on the calculator pages. Changing rules are listed on the published values page, and the methodology guide explains what the estimates can and cannot do.
